What to do when in a Car Accident and other driver is charged with Reckless Driving

I always find it interesting to see statistics on the most common types of accidents whether on a bike, in a car, or on a boat. On one website, the Top Five most common auto accidents are listed as follows: DUIs, Reckless Driving, Speeding, Faulty Car Design, and Improper Driving.

While those “five” common causes of accidents actually seem to encompass many more than a literal five types of accidents, the lesson here is that most accidents are avoidable. When I read some of these articles that talk about auto accidents I am amazed by some of the risks drivers are willing to take while operating a 4,000 or more pound machine. Not only are these risky drivers endangering themselves, but they are endangering the rest of us as well. If you have ever been involved in an accident with one of these risky drivers you should contact an attorney immediately so that you can better understand what to do next to take care of yourself and your car.
