Is Driver Fatigue to Blame for an Atlanta Auto Accident?

On the last Friday of November, a single-vehicle accident in Atlanta occurred sending one woman to the hospital. Authorities said that the Atlanta woman was fortunate enough to escape serious injuries and only suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries.

Linda White, 44, of Atlanta, was traveling east on Texas Highway 77 near CR 4799 early Friday morning when her car left the roadway. Her vehicle overturned in the crash, after traveling several hundred feet off the roadway.

She was transported to Atlanta Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

A witness to the crash indicated that it seemed like White was having a hard time keeping her car in the lane, as her car appeared to be drifting over the line just prior to the accident.

Authorities indicated that early morning fog combined with excessive speed and driver fatigue could have been factors that contributed to this crash.

Kalka & Baer would like to remind motorists in the Atlanta metro area to get plenty of sleep before driving a vehicle and to slow down for their own safety and for the safety of other motorists sharing the road. We would also like to extend our best wishes to Linda White for a fast and full recovery.
