On January 10, 2011 Truck Drivers and Tractor Trailer drivers caused multiple truck wrecks, automobile accidnents, and violated Ferderal Motor Carrier Safey Regulations.

On this date, driving conditions in Atlanta were extremely dangerous. The state of Georgia experienced a historical snow fall, which lead to hazardous driving conditions. However, despite the dangerous weather conditions truck drivers and tractor trailer operators continued operationing their truck routes in Atlanta, Georgia.
Truck Driver basic Rules of operation is to use "extreme caution" when bad weather adversley affects driving conditions.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations 392.14 specfically state that "Extreme caution in the operation of commercial motor vehicles shall be exercised when hazardous conditions, such as those caused by snow, ice, sleet ..... Speed shall be reduced when conditions exist. If conditions become sufficiently dangerous, the operation of the tractor trailer shall be discontinued and shall not be resumed until the truck can operate safley."
