Decatur Bicycle Victims Rights and Legal Representation

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, Georgia is ranked eighth in the United States for bicycle fatalities. This is despite the fact that the Atlanta region has one of the lowest bicycling rates in the country. In April, 2011 a cyclist was hit when a car ran a red light in while downtown Decatur. The cyclist's injuries included a fractured rib and several cuts and bruises. In an urban environment, such as a downtown or shopping area, drivers should be mindful of pedestrians and cyclists.
