Atlanta officers responded to an accident on I-20 westbound, just east of Lee Street on Saturday morning around 7:30 a.m. When they arrived on the scene, they found a motorcyclist lying in the emergency lane of the interstate.

The male motorcyclist was lying with his bike in the road and was not responsive. They believe the man suffered a head injury in this Atlanta motorcycle crash. The unidentified man was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for medical treatment of his injuries.

Atlanta Police are trying to find out if the man lost control of his motorcycle and hit the median wall, or if he was hit by another vehicle. They are asking anyone who knows what led to this accident to come forward and call 404-765-2808.

Kalka & Baer would like to wish the injured motorcyclist a full and quick recovery.
