Fiery South Fulton County Truck Accident Results in Fatality

On August 31st, 2012 a tractor-trailer that had been traveling southbound on Camp Creek Parkway, apparently missed a curve causing the truck to leave the road, overturn, crash into a cement pole, catch on fire, and continue down an embankment. By the time the truck settled at the bottom of the embankment, it was fully engulfed in flames. Fulton firefighters found one victim deceased in the cab of the truck. No immediate cause of the accident was evident, however, many factors could have contributed to the accident such as driver fatigue, an improperly maintained vehicle, poor road or weather conditions, another vehicle cutting the driver off, and more.
