Bad Tire Causes Fatal Atlanta Car Crash

A fatal Atlanta car crash occurred the night of Saturday, October 8, 2011, on Interstate 20 near Fulton County Industrial. Police say that a bad tire was to blame for the fatal wreck.

According to investigators, a Lexus was traveling westbound on I-20 near I-285 when one of its rear tires blew out. The car then swerved and crashed into a Ford Expedition. The driver of the Lexus was 25-year-old Anoa Sulaiman.

When the Ford Expedition was hit, passenger Christopher Saladrigas, 27, was thrown from the vehicle and killed. According to authorities, Saladrigas died at the scene.

Police did not report any other serious injuries that occurred due to this wreck. As of now, no charges have been filed in this case, but police are still investigating the accident.
