July 4th is an important holiday- the remembrance of America’s independence
many years ago. Celebrated across the country on lakes, beaches, pools,
backyards, and parks alike, the fourth of July brings together friends
and families.
Such a celebratory day brings more drivers on the road and more boat drivers
on the water. And,
AAA Auto Club South noted the lower gas prices could add to the amount of people to drive
from their home this holiday period.
Atlanta personal injury lawyers at The Kalka Law Group urges Georgia drivers
to take extra caution and travel safely.
There will be more police officers and sheriff deputies on the road as
well. They will be monitoring drinking and driving, speeding, and other
driving infractions- all part of
Georgia’s Operation Zero Tolerance.
The biggest part of Operation Zero Tolerance is preventing drinking and driving.
You can support this safety program. Speak up and stop someone from driving
if he/she is intoxicated. And, if you see someone on the road driving
erratically like he/she is under the influence of alcohol, call and report
the car. You can stop someone from risking lives by drinking and driving.
Stay safe on Georgia’s roadways and happy 4th of July to everyone!
